Each year Heart Truth, which is an organization that promotes awareness for Heart disease, uses Fashion week as a way to promote their message. Heart Truth produced the Red Dress collection which displayed 20 celebrities, working the runway in a variety of designer gowns. The collection showcased the power of the Red Dress, and encouraged women to protect their heart health and take action to lower their risk for heart disease. Celebrities such as Taraji P Henson, Eve, Jordin Sparks, and Patti Labelle all contributed to the cause. The dresses worn by the celebs will be auctioned off at the Clothes off Our Back organization to hep raise money for funding the awareness of Heart and Lung disease.
